of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder,
Grief, and Depression -
Bringing Hope and Healing!
Participants will learn signs, and symptoms, important Biblical truths, and more, to aid in recognizing what is happening in a person's life, ways to approach the person, spiritual care, and proven methods of bringing hope.
Saturday, November 8th, 8:30 a.m. -
1st hour: Introductions, Worship, and Definitions of Suffering, Grief, Depression, PSTD, Hope and Healing.
2nd hour: Suffering as a whole: Biblical understanding, Biblical and modern resources, and current situations
3rd hour: Grief specifically: Biblical understanding, Biblical and modern resources, ordinary signs, and current situations
4th hour: Depression -
5th hour: Healing: Biblical understanding, cultural understanding, being cured vs. being healed, emotional, spiritual and physical healing, resources, conversations moving towards healing, and current situations.
6th hour: Hope: Biblical understanding, cultural understanding, pathways to hope via spirituality, spiritual maturity, thinking processes, conversations moving towards hope, and current situations.
7th hour: Discussion, Reflection, Searching Questions
SECOND DAY, Sunday, November 9th, 2 -
8th hour: Forming Support Groups within your Community. Why? How? When?
9th hour: Facilitating skills, gifts, and graces. Listening skills. Healing conversations. Naming the issue.
10th hour: Practicing facilitation, learning new listening skills, finding ways to affirm the hope within.
